So I already posted this but I need to post it again BECAUSE… I’m so glad I ventured into one of my favorite bars last night for CHRISTMAS IN JULY!
The patio was decked out with candy canes and Christmas trees and lights and FAKE SNOW! Okay maybe it was just bubbles but it made Friends Night Out even better! There was exchanging of presents (which I might add was mostly old records like Frank Sinatra Christmas!) and a whole line of drunk Santas.
The Santas turned out to be dicks when we got up to the dance floor but for the moment it was awesome. :)
But in conclusion… I need more of my bars to do Christmas in July themes because to quote my friend Whitney who sitting in the fake snow “I am so happy right now!” :)
